Appointments
We are pleased to announce that you can now book and manage your appointments via our new app; it’s proven to be 5 times quicker than calling the practice. Not only can you book routine and urgent appointments but you can, also, request fit notes, check your symptoms, access self-help services and much more!
You can sign in using your existing NHS account login or by creating a new account.

Appointments can be made online (using the AskFirst App or by using the NHS app from your mobile phone). Please remember that an appointment is for ONE person only. If you cannot keep an appointment please inform us as soon as possible so it can be used for another patient. If you want an online appointment (video call) then let us know and the doctor will provide a link to use on the day of the appointment.
How to Get an Longer Appointment
If you feel like you need a longer appointment or have multiple conditions that need seeing to, please feel free to book an extended appointment. If booking by phone then simply ask the Receptionist you are talking to. If you are booking through online services then find a day with two back-to-back slots that suit you and book them in.
Access Upstairs
If you find it difficult to get up the stairs to the consulting rooms, please either ask for an appointment with a downstairs healthcare professional, or, if you specifically want to see a staff member who works upstairs, you can ask reception to book an extended appointment and they can let that member know to come down on the day.
Translator
The practice has an interpreter service that allows us to consult with patients in their preferred language. If you would like to make use of this in an appointment, please let reception know when booking and we can organise an extended appointment and set up the translator which will be via speaker phone.

Did You Know ?
We are participating in a new approach to improve access for patients to GP appointments. The aim is to direct patients to the most appropriate healthcare professional, which may be a GP, Pharmacist, Paramedic, First Contact Practitioner or a Link Worker. From February 2022, if your symptoms could be resolved by a booked consultation with the pharmacist instead of the GP, you will be given a same-day referral to a pharmacy of your choice.
We think this is a good thing. Once you see how great your local pharmacist is – they are highly trained and skilled clinicians experienced in treating minor illnesses – we don’t think you’ll look back. This will also help us to free up GP appointments for people with more complex health needs and ensure that everyone gets treated at the right time, by the right healthcare professional.
We are keen to hear what you think and will be listening to your comments and feedback about your experience of using this service.
